What is the microclimate of our school?

What is the microclimate of our school?

I have uploaded this activity because it worked so well and was so effective as a thinking skills activity and as an assessment tool. Ideally reading will be taken around your school grounds but it does work based on the students knowledge of their school grounds! I have also included a writing frame to build their Geographical explanation/extended writing skills. You will obviously need a map of your own school on the task sheet.

It covers sunshine measurers, barometers, maximum and minimum thermometers, anemometers and Stevenson screens.
