Unit looks at leaders across faiths, holy scripture/Qu’ran as authority, Muhammad’s Night of Power and issue of obedience to authority/tradition/culture etc through wearing of coverings as a decision for Muslim women. This unit is a bridging unit into Islam another unit I have uploaded as pupils enjoyed this so much, I wrote a full unit on Islam for them for the next term. The PPT has 12 lessons and 53 slides with activities. You can pretty much walk into the room and teach from it, without further resources. Ideal if RS cover teacher or non-specialist too. I have developed a whole unit work from Year 5 up to Year 8 which I am now uploading. These have taken me hundreds of hours so I hope this saves you lots of time. Happy Sunday!
