French lesson and resources - KS2 - Family members

This is a plan and resources for a beginner's French lesson to use with KS2 or KS3. It involves children learning the vocabulary for grandad/grandmother/mum/dad/brother and sister in French. The plan could be used for an individual lesson, or as part of an 'All About Me' unit. The plan gives details of a whole class game to use as a starter, how to teach the vocabulary, a paired speaking and listening activity, a whole class listening activity, a writing activity and plenary. It is highly interactive and allows children to practise a range of language skills. All resources needed for the lesson are included in the price.
