Transition Advice for Teachers

PSW Education & Leadership brings you 5 key areas to explore when participating in a transition meeting regarding your new class or group of students. 1- Explore the key demographics of your new class. What are the key vulnerable or target groups? 2- Do any individuals have specific additional needs or disabilities? 3- Explore any issues arising in regards to behaviour within the class. Are there any specific individuals or needs you need to be aware of? 4- Gather information in regards to current academic standards. How do these pupils need to be challenged? 5- What do I need to teach as a priority in my first few weeks? What gaps in learning need to be addressed? Discover the Root cause of a problem using a Fish Bone diagram - Powerpoint Presentation

This is a powerpoint presentation that covers cause and effect and the use of a fishbone diagram to establish the root cause of a workplace issue or problem. The powerpoint is learner interactive and has tasks for learners to complete. I have used this with many different organisation types and sizes and it is always very well received. It is an extremely effective tool for project planning.
