IT’S TIME TO GET A “MOVE” ON!!! Inside this PACKAGE are 4 FREE “Quick Mover” Activities and 5 FREE PE Games which includes complete lesson plans and diagrams for each activity. The Quick Movers and PE Games package is designed for PE or classroom teachers to use with their students and can accommodate a wide range of ages, for children from grades Kindergarten through 8th. Many of the activities are ideal for large or medium sized groups, outside on a field or blacktop or inside a gym or other play area. The 4 “Quick Mover” Activities (1 Instant Activity, 1 Fitness Activity, 1 Tag Game and 1 Radical Relay) are extremely fun, fast-moving and energy boosting activities ideally suited as “PE warm ups” although they can also be used as an extension of a fitness lesson, during a special day like field day or as a lesson closer too. They are ideal for PE teachers to reinforce teaching cues in sport-based units or could be used as a diversion from a regiment of PE fitness activities. UNSINKABLE! This lesson plan and diagram is for a large group physical education class game called "BattleShip". It is a strategic and extremely fun rolling, throwing and accuracy game. During the game students try to sink other battleships by throwing balls at the other teams pins (propellers) while trying to save their own ship! Scuba divers travel through the ocean to provide ammunition. The kids will leave the gym with smiles on their faces and will be asking you if they really have to leave. It requires some bowling pins and soft balls.
