E-Safety Real life vs Online Primary School Assembly

A role play of different scenarios that are the same in real life as they are online. Will the children react differently when they are online to real life? Should we actually be behaving in exactly the same way online as we do in real life? A thought provoking assembly that really hit home with the children.

www.twittileaks.co.uk

www.twittileaks.co.uk

I have found this website that pulls data off the twitter feeds of the major newspapers and lists them with the links to the article in subjects. Students and teachers can go on there and quickly compare news sources. They can easily compare how one news paper reports on teachers, doctors, nurses, immigrants, muslims, the NHS and exiting Europe over time. This is a quick handy tool to show students how differently newspapers cover a topic. Ideal for English work (comparison of style of journalism and topics covered), media studies, politics, mathematics and statistics, Information Technology, Religious studies, Sociology and debates. www.twittileaks.co.uk
