Our Solar System- basic planetary facts

Introduction booklet to the Solar System and it's Planets. Uses updated facts and figures from the Nasa website. (Pluto is named as a Dwarf planet) Introduces the idea of orbit, solid rock - Terrestrial planets, gas - the Gas Giants, the sun as a star, moons, and temperature. Originally created for ESL purposes, however it can be used just as effectively in any regular primary classroom. Print out A4 double sided and fold into an A5 booklet. (there is a higher level booklet also on this website) The solar system is a mobile to cut out and construct.

The Solar System Domino

Laminate then cut out each domino. Each group has one set. Each child takes some dominoes. In each group, children keep on matching the dominoes by answering the questions. The game ends when the last domino with end is matched. It’s fun and helps students learn about the solar system.
