GERMAN ANIMALS BINGO GAMES

GAMES WITH GOALS! GERMAN animals bingo games are ideal for developing listening, speaking, reading and writing/spelling skills. They’re also really useful for a focus on definite article and gender. The pack includes 21 non-editable files: ONE & TWO: 40 picture-only bingo 12-square grids, 4 per page (10 pages). You can give students a random selection of pages, with students selecting the order of grids they play from. You can also cut out the grids, and place them in a small bowl or similar object on tables. Students select grids randomly from the bowl. Depending on the size of your class, you should have several winners per game! You might prefer to laminate the grids, especially if you are printing in color - students can use wipe-clean pens, and you can recycle the grids many times. Color and B&W. THREE: 40 GERMAN word-only bingo 12-square grids, 4 per page (10 pages). FOUR: 40 English word-only bingo 12-square grids, 4 per page (10 pages). FIVE: 4 12-square grid template for students to create their own word or picture grids for each other. SIX: 1 GERMAN and 1 English calling card, with all the words written in full. SEVEN TO TWENTY-ONE: 15 SILENT BINGO games PLAY SILENT BINGO! Select a grid type for students - picture-only, German word or English word. Using the SILENT BINGO files, show each slide at varying speeds. Students cross off the corresponding word or picture. These are really versatile, with a range of challenges, and depending on which skills you want to focus on - for example, show the pictures only using German words grids for vocab recall & reading practice; show the English words using German words grids for mini-translation practice as well as vocab recall/reading; show the German words using English word grids for reading & vocab recall - students have to be completely silent - it’s a really popular way of playing bingo! There are 5 different games of each type: picture-only, German words, English words. All the games are designed for players to cross off all the words or pictures on their grids in order to win the game. There are tables to show the plural forms of the pets and a slide to show the use of the accusative form with Ich habe…. These sudokus consist of 6, rather than 9, words or sentences, covering a variety of topics. If you want to try one for free, I have also uploaded the weather sudoku to give you an idea. Each worksheet also has an additional question or activity as extension for those who finish early or for those who do not like sudokus. End of term puzzle for Stimmt 1 unit 2 Familie und Tiere

This is a tarsia puzzle to practise vocab from chapter 2 in Stimmt 1 (family and pets. A tarsia consists of puzzle pieces that the students cut out and then match words to form a certain shape (ideally students don’t know what shape that is). They will quickly realise their mistakes if the puzzle won’t fit together. Great activity for Friday afternoons, cover lessons or end of term. This download includes: sheets for students with jumbled up puzzle pieces, an answer sheet for the teacher in list form and one showing the shape. If the print quality of the student slide isn’t good enough, use the attached pdf file.
