Material Properties Oxidation Alloys KS3 KS4

In this lesson, students are introduced to material properties, alloys and oxidation in line with GCSE assessment criteria for Design and Technology. The lesson consists of videos, class discussions, a writing task and a design task where students Sketch their own designs and choose the relevant material based on its properties. Finally there is an optional practical task demonstrating oxidation (requires lemon juice and a paint brush).
