Jekyll and Hyde Parts 1 and 2 - Video, Comic and Worksheet Pack

Jekyll and Hyde Parts 1 and 2 - Video, Comic and Worksheet Pack

Here are the first two videos of my Jekyll and Hyde series included in one pack at a discount of 30%. These are animated movie adaptations of the book and as in most such cases they do not adhere strictly to the original work. I made them with the idea of using different media as a comparison to the Robert Louis Stevenson work. More details of each can be found at each of the individual product pages which are still available as single resources. The movie and comic book style script included her are a fun and engaging way of introducing students to this classic gothic horror story. The materials included would be ideal for bringing the story to younger learners or students of ESL As well as the videos, of these resources also include; 1. Two comic book style versions of the movie script in PDF. One in colour which can be used for presentation purposes by the teacher or on students devices such as notebook computers or iPads. The other is BW for easier printing. Both comic books also include writing and question tasks at the end of the story. 2. A PDF worksheet for students to practice some of the vocabulary which may be new to them. This also includes a separate answer print. 3. Jekyll and Hyde Part 2 - Video Lesson

Jekyll and Hyde Part 2 - Video Lesson

This is part two of my 6 part series of Robert Louis Stevenson's Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde. It is an animated movie adaptation of the book and as in most such cases it does not adhere strictly to the original work. I made it with the idea of using different media as a comparison to the Robert Louis Stevenson work. This second video covers the part of the story where the lawyer Utterson attends a party at the house of his friend, Dr. Henry Jekyll. Later, after the other guests have left he has a discussion with Jekyll about the dangers of his relationship with Edward Hyde. Later, a maid witnesses a late night altercation between Hyde and an old man that results in the evil Hyde murdering the old man. The movie and comic book style script included her are a fun and engaging way of introducing students to this classic gothic horror story. The materials included would be ideal for bringing the story to younger learners or students of ESL As well as the video, which is in mov format, this product also includes; 1. Conditional Clauses with Eminem

Conditional Clauses with Eminem

A brief review of the three different kinds of conditional clauses in the English language, along with examples of their usage as rap lyrics in songs from iconic rapper Eminem (born Marshall Mathers). Students have to determine which type of conditional clauses Eminem uses, and highlight which words helped them reach their conclusion. Perfect as supplemental practice, especially for students who love rap music or maybe think that they're "too cool" for English class.

Morning song!

Morning song!

I noticed my children were coming into my class in a morning fairly tired, so I decided to create something to help them wake up and bring a smile to their faces. This is sung every morning and the class love it! I have had parents speak to me explaining their child won't stop singing it at home and they love it! I feel as though this is a great idea for every class as it does get the children ready to learn! More songs will be made for each half term.
