Notre Dame - reading for beginning/intermediate French learners

Notre Dame - reading for beginning/intermediate French learners

Notre Dame de Paris is a symbol of Paris with a rich history - it just celebrated 850 years of service. But the history wasn’t always pleasant. This article tells the story of this beautiful church, written in simplified French for beginning and intermediate students. A 2 page reading for beginning and intermediate French students. Vocabulary and grammar are simple enough - present tense with some passe compose and imparfait - so that a first year, second semester class would be able to read and understand the writing. Includes a 9 question multiple choice short answer worksheet in English with answer key as well as related resources.

Studio 1- Module 4 - Les directions

Lesson based on Studio 1p. 72 I don’t like the double page so I thought I would make a more appropriate lesson on directions. This means that there is no listening so I made sentences to read out myself. Thanks for downloading. Feel free to comment and amend! :)

Lesson based on Studio 1, p. 70. Start of the lesson has some personal revision (post half term) regarding photo descriptions which of course you can remove. Thanks for downloading! Feel free to comment and amend! :)

Possessive adjectives

Possessive adjectives

A great resource to practice possessive adjectives. It includes enough activities to ensure students are sufficiently challenged to cope with this aspect of grammar.
