This is a reading activity about Les repas aimed at Year 7 French. There are two texts and a list of 10 questions. Students have to colour each question a different colour and then colour the answers in each text in a corresponding colour. There are two versions of the sheet - the second has more vocabulary to help weaker students This has been tried and tested by me and my colleagues - year 7s seem to do it well. It follows the AQA format: Each text is around 200 words and is summarized into a 80 words summary using the 3 bullets points provided. The first text is about the rise of online Language learning and the second one about online dating. My students found them very helpful to understand the skills required for this task.
