A great bundle. This is a zip file containing Literacy planning for a year 5 class (Autumn term). Plus great worksheets where pupils have to tot up the value of the coins. All answers provided. It consists of 14 short term plans I designed. There is one Literacy lesson per day. You will get 14 Microsoft Word documents. They are based on the Greek myths. I’ve also included for free some extra teaching materials that you can use. I’ve included too 3 medium term plans , one for each term). These cover plans and ideas not just for Literacy, but other subjects as well. I’ve also included an extra week from the next term. Feel free to use it to plug any gaps. This will help you do your own planning. Feel free to cut and paste into your own school’s plans. Ideal for someone who had to do a term’s supply like I had to do. Please bear in mind: every school is different. My plans assume you have the aide of a TA, but this is not essential. There is no differentiation in the planning. Everyone does the same thing to the best of their ability. you may want to add your own detail. These are short term plans remember. I have used walts and wilts. Your school may do something different. A very few number of weeks have a small gaps for things like tests and inset days. Use the extra week one planning for the next term (included for free) if you wish.

SATs Revision (Money Calculations)

SATs Revision (Money Calculations)

SATs preparation for 2018. These topic-focused SATs questions have fully-worked solutions suitable for whiteboard display or sending home to parents. Click 👉 tes.com/…/sats-revision… for similar-style question compilations on the other SATs topics.
This particular compilation is from the MEASUREMENT strand and contains questions involving calculations with money. Note that the methods in my solutions are not restricted to standard multiplication and division techniques - if the multiplication or division is difficult I have often used an intuitive method to obtain the answer. Students can use whatever method they want - as long as they show sufficient working out.
I have designed this compilation to be printed as an A4 or A5 booklet which is in the style of the actual SATs papers and is convenient for use in class or as homework. It can even be given to individual students if a parent is asking for ‘some more work’! KEY POINTS: I have provided full answers, with comments and working where helpful. I have maintained the style of the actual SATs questions so that students can become comfortable with the way that SATs questions are presented. Most of the questions are from actual SATs papers, but I have also added questions so that this resource matches the requirements the current curriculum better than the older resources that are still in common use (note that many of the older resources of this type contain questions on topics which are no longer examined). I have spent a lot of time arranging the questions so that there is a general increase in difficulty as students work through them, and so that they fit on the pages better – this means less wasted space and significant paper-saving when printing 😃
👍If you like this resource, then please rate it and/or leave a comment💬.
