Quadratic Function - Murder Mystery

A fantastic murder mystery to help your investigators practice their quadratic function skills. Students are given a scenario in which they will help investigators solve a murder. Five clues have been left behind to help them figure out the perp. Knowledge of solving quadratic functions, discriminant, substitution and word problems will all be necessary to catch the killer! This is a great activity for classwork, assessment, homework or stations. It is very flexible! 20 Linear Regression Task Cards - Including Correlation Coefficients, Residuals

A set of 20 task cards focusing on all aspects of linear regressions. To complete the task cards students will use knowledge of linear regressions (line of best fit, least squares regression), correlation coefficients, and calculating residuals and their meaning. The bundle also includes an answer sheet for students to record their work. This is a great review of skills for a test, quiz or standardized assessment. X- and Y-Intercept Matching Activity (CCSS.HSF.IF.B.4)

X- and Y-Intercept Matching Activity (CCSS.HSF.IF.B.4)

This matching activity is designed to be practice for students in finding the x- and y-intercepts of a graph and from an equation. Students will have to use critical thinking skills in order to match the three sets. Finding intercepts is a difficult task for students to attain. This practice will help students see the relation between an ordered pair, equation of a line and a graphed line.
