The Amazing Race Geog Revision

The Amazing Race Geog Revision

This is a Geography Revision tool for GCSE. Students have to guess specific locations (previously studied) then complete 1 of 2 tasks in order to move on to the next location. There are also road block tasks where the winner can nominate a team to complete BOTH tasks in the next leg. This is a 6 leg journey covering The Philippines (Typhoon Haiyan) UK (Birmingham opportunities) Pakistan (Thar Desert - adaptations and food webs) India (Mumbai/Dharavi) DRC (Nyiragongo) Kiribati (Climate change) It does take a lot of time to set up but well worth it! I have already started to create a second one as the kids enjoyed it so much. included is all activities needed to complete plus blank templates. They come in an unprotected format so you can adapt to fit your SOL. Enjoy

Edexcel B GCSE Geography 9-1 Revision activities for Topics 1 - 6

These are revision activities comprising of a Powerpoint with pupil questions which give comprehensive specification coverage of key words and concepts. Pupils can then self-assess their answers as the answers will then appear. I find this works well as a mini-whiteboard activity or I print of the slides and use them as a Q + A activity. I will be uploading several more to this resource over the next few weeks as I revise the full spec with my pupils. I use these in conjunction with the longer homework/classroom questions which are also available for purchase. Topics 1,2,3,4,5,6
