Year 6 Maths Scheme of Work 3

Year 6 Maths Scheme of Work 3

A scheme of learning with planning and worksheets included for Year 6 Maths. Included are 30 lessons that cover: Multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000 Multiplying decimal numbers Finding percentages of amounts x 2 Fraction, decimal and percentage equivalents Converting measurements Miles and kms Time Shape with same area but different perimeter and vice versa Volume Area Area of triangles Addition and subtraction (Same as 1st planning scheme as it is revision) Multiplication (Same as 1st planning scheme as it is revision) Division (Same as 1st planning scheme as it is revision) Worksheets are differentiated three ways with a mastery aim running throughout. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for two days lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets. These have all been made with mastery in mind and so follow this pattern. Worksheet One - Works on practise and fluency (LA) Worksheet Two - Practise, fluency and reasoning (MA) Worksheet Three - Practise, fluency, reasoning and problem solving (HA) Worksheet Four - Same as worksheet three as a spare for anybody who finishes problem solving Answers are included for each sheet.

Telling Time - Resources

Telling Time - Resources

Here is a selection of worksheets aimed at helping pupils to tell the time. They are given a time under the clock and need to fill in the hands themselves. This can be done in different colours or pencil and works well when used in conjunction with small maths clocks. There are five sheets covering - on the hour, quarter past the hour, half past the hour, quarter to the hour and a sheet that progresses from on the hour to quarter past the same hour and then half past the same hour. I have also uploaded the word document so it can be edited as well as the PDF.

Year 2 - KS1 - Teacher Assessment Framework - Maths Evidence Sheets

Year 2 - KS1 - Teacher Assessment Framework - Maths Evidence Sheets

These activities are design to provide evidence for all '3' levels' of the Teacher Assessment of the KS1 Maths Curriculum. Each objective on the Teacher Assessment Framework has an activity, in line with exemplar materials provided by the DfE, that the children can complete to prove their abilities. There are 3 variations of each activity to enable children who are unsuccessful the first time they complete the work to revisit using different numbers. These are marked by a different character in each corner of the sheet. If tasks have been recommended, then there is also a task card that can be printed (colour or black and white) for the children to work through and a record sheet to accompany it. All are labelled to make record keeping easier, there is a record sheet which teachers can complete but also give a fun element for children to colour upon completion. These sheets provide a great evidence log for moderation and the children love working on their 'log jobs'. Sheets are bright, colourful and feature high quality clip arts to ensure children are engaged with the activities.
