Area of a Triangle (GCSE Questions)

Area of a Triangle (GCSE Questions)

A worksheet helping students to review their knowledge of area of a triangle (using the sine of an angle). The questions cover the full range of skills tested within past GCSE and IGCSE papers. There are also a couple of questions that require working out the area of a sector. This worksheet can be used for work in class or as a homework. The sheet is also excellent for one-to-one tuition or identifying specific student weakness as part of the intervention process. Students can work horizontally, vertically, or even zigzag across the sheet. Answers are included.

Circumference of Circles (and more...)

Circumference of Circles (and more...)

Four worksheets which require students to work out the circumference of a circle (or circular object) or work backwards to get the diameter/radius. The worksheets are are at different difficulty levels (First Steps, Strengthen, Extend and Worded Problems). I have used these sheets with Y7 and Y8 classes and the students love them - particularly the Extend sheet. Questions can be answered going horizontally, vertically, or even zigzag across the sheets. Detailed solutions are included.
