French - Telling the time - Quelle heure est-il? - Board Games - Speaking and Listening

This contains six differentiated board games for practising telling the time in French. Simply print which boards you wish to play with. Laminate or print on to card for increased durability. The six boards are: o’clock times; half hour and on the hour; quarter hour intervals; mixed times; the 24-hour clock; analogue clock faces. A template is also included to make dice. Full instructions are included as well as a help sheet and ideas on how to support / extend the games. Pupils play in groups of 2 - 4 players and take it in turns to ask and answer questions about the time. This is a fun way to practise speaking and listening skills as well as to consolidate time vocabulary.

This is a speaking and listening board game to practise talking about pets. Full instructions included with ideas on how to support, extend and differentiate. Pupils play in groups of 2 - 4. They will need counters and a dice - a dice template is included in the powerpoint if needed. The rest of the cards are placed in the “pioche”. One player begins the game by asking another player to give him a card. He might say, “Dans la famille VENDRE, est-ce que tu as TU VENDS?” His goal is to come up with a complete family. If the player doesn’t have it, he says “pioche”. If he draws the card that he asked for, he can continue to play and ask someone for another card. Each time a player comes up with all six members of a family, he can make a stack. At the end of the game, the player with the most sets of families wins! Jeux et jouets - Qui a...? - Card Game

This game is a version of the classic I-Have-Who-Has game. It is designed to practice using the verb* avoir* and identifying and naming various toys and games. It is a great way to practice the newly taught vocabulary, as well as pronunciation and listening skills. Print the document one-sided, laminate it and cut out the cards. Distribute all the cards randomly to the students. Select a student to begin by reading his card out loud and then putting it down. The other students listen attentively to each question, answer it if they have the answer card and then they read the next question. The game is over when all the cards are down.

French Taboo is a game that is easy to modify and use with beginners and advanced students alike. This Taboo set is about the wonderful and delightful classic story of the Petit Prince written by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. This Taboo set Special le Petit Prince edition includes 167 Vocabulary words translated as well as files in French only. Great for Immersion schools! Beginner students should be allowed to use the French TABOO words printed on the cards. This will encourage them to use new vocabulary and will help them in forming sentences to use as clues. FRENCH CONDITIONAL TENSE -ER VERBS

This workbook is perfect for developing a sound understanding of how to conjugate FRENCH -ER verbs in the conditional tense. There are 25 key verbs, 3 differentiated challenges and 150 quick conjugations. Quick conjugations are a great way of practicing, reinforcing and revising how to conjugate essential verbs in FRENCH.
