Year 7 Spanish Introduction lesson

Year 7 Spanish Introduction lesson

This is a lesson I have created to start Year 7 Spanish along with Viva 1 (Módulo 1 - Unidad 1). It includes a Power Point (28 slides), several worksheets and homework. In the Power Point you will also find an activity to do on computers but I can't share the worksheet because of the pictures. There is a picture of the activity in case you want to copy it though.

Learning Spanish The Fun Way! Bundle

Learning Spanish The Fun Way! Bundle

Are you learning Spanish? Are you looking for a fun way to learn Spanish? I have developed a way to learn different languages based on my experience as an ESL teacher. This pack has 57 different settings for students to talk about in Spanish. The worksheets themselves are in English and the students do need to translate the places and objects they see into Spanish. At the end of the session, the students can play a fun game of word bingo to show they have mastered that day's vocabulary. Try it, it is a lot of fun for everyone!

Phonetic Spelling Spanish KS3

Phonetic Spelling Spanish KS3

A KS3 resource created to follow a lesson in which students have been introduced to the sounds of the Spanish alphabet. This presentation runs through and recaps sounds of the Spanish alphabet and challenges students to spell both seen and unseen words out loud in a Spelling Bee exercise with their partners. Tried and tested - students love the Spelling Bee activity. Partners choose a word from their list and then test each other on unseen words (resources attached). This can then be extended to students standing in front of the class and spelling words read out by volunteers.
