Everything you need for a half term's worth of art is here that matches perfectly with a local area study or a nature/woodland/habitat topic. Children will build sculptures, take photographs, paint, use sketchbooks, draw with a variety of mediums and stimuli and use a wide range of materials that are commonly found in schools or easily accessible. There is also a lesson where children get to experiment and create completely original pieces of art from their imagination. Every lesson has cross-curricula elements including: reading comprehension, writing and DT, plus they all come with a reflective self-evaluation sheet, everything is designed to perfectly compliment the new 2014 curriculum and the lessons will work with any age group but are designed for KS2.

Simply Beautiful Art Lesson. Suitable for KS2 KS1 and EYFS. Can Create Stunning End Results

Based around abstract art, this lesson has been taught with great success to EYFS/Year 1 children, Year 4 children and Year 6 children with fantastic results in every year group. Children access and interpret the work on different levels, it is differentiated by outcome to an extent, although differentiation suggestions are included. Whichever age undertakes this work the result has always been beautiful large scale pieces of art that look incredible when framed or just mounted on display. This lesson involves children using their imagination and creativity whilst simultaneously enhancing their technical, observation and replication skills. The lesson is designed so that children collaborate in groups to slowly and precisely create large scale work but the lesson can be easily adapted for pair or individual work. Allow 2 hours for completion. Contains easy to understand teachers' notes and 7 full colour art images for the lesson.

Colours in English and Polish

Colours in English and Polish

A set of mini posters (A5 for each colour/ 2 colours per page) with 4-5 objects in each chart. The objects are in 14 colours, described both in English and Polish. The endings of Polish adjectives vary, because of the masculine, feminine, neutral or plural forms of the nouns. I used flashcards downloaded from www.eslflashcards.com website. However, I made some amendments and extensions :) If you need any help with translating some words or phrases from/into Polish, please, feel free to write to me at lipread.london@yahoo.co.uk
