French – Conversation Cards – Questions and Answers.

French – Conversation Cards – Questions and Answers.

This is a set of 28 question cards and 28 answer cards to get your pupils speaking to each other in French and great to use as starters for target language practice. They include questions about name age, likes, favourites, preferences, family, daily routine, and many more. These fun colourful cards can be printed and cut into individual question and answer cards to be used in several different ways, depending on the ability and confidence of your students: Both question and answer cards can be given to students in pairs to practice a conversation. (Easier level) Question cards only given to pairs to practice a conversation. Students will need to form their own answers. (Middle level) Students are only given the answer cards and need to use these to form the relevant questions. (Harder level) It is essential that pupils can ask questions (not just answer them). Regular practice of these question and answer sessions will allow them to get used to asking questions and be able to formulate further questions independently.

Ma routine- Reading comprehension assessment- basic and higher level

Ma routine- Reading comprehension assessment- basic and higher level

This resource includes two reading comprehension assessments that focus on the topic ' ma routine'. 'La routine de Sandrine' is a simpler text and is ideal for students doing the GCSEs ( foundation) or grades 9 and above and the text titled 'Ma vie quotidienne a la campagne' is a little more complex in nature and may be more suited for students in the IBDP ab initio programme. However, it can also be used for assessing students in the IGCSE programme. The level of difficulty or complexity may be decided by the teacher. They may be used for the purpose of revision as well. They come with their respective answer keys / marking schemes.

Claim the parcel translation game La Routine New GCSE Studio AQA

Claim the parcel translation game Activity for revising different verb tenses and topics from new GCSE AQA books. You have a table with different verbs tenses/sentences and project it on your interactive whiteboard/wall. In groups of 2 (max 3) they write the answer in French to one of the parcels/boxes on their mini white boards, come to you at the front of the class (you check) and if they have the answer correct they can claim the parcel/box. You write their names/team name on a post it notes and stick it over the parcel/box on the interactive whiteboard. Then, no one can do this parcel/box anymore. The winner is the group to have most parcels/boxes claimed at the end. Works well as end of module revision or translation practice. Don't forget to feedback!
