Christmas Comprehension about doing your fair share

Christmas Comprehension about doing your fair share

This Power Point tells the story of Josh who has a dream about elves helping Santa in his workshop at the North Pole. One little elf is too busy on his elf-phone and watching elf-flix to notice the mess building up around him. Josh's dream helps him to realise that everyone must play a part in helping if Santa is going to get his sleigh loaded in time for Christmas Day. After reading the short story, the audience have some comprehension questions to answer related to the narrative and then have a choice of two written tasks. The first is to think of five ways in which they can help out at home over Christmas and the second is to design an elf-pad and apps appropriate for Santa's little helper. Some elf jokes are thrown in for good measure. A word document accompanies the Power Point . This resource is suitable for ages 7+
