Easter Eggs Wordsearch Sheet Starter Activity Keywords Religious Studies RE Education

Easter Eggs Wordsearch Sheet Starter Activity Keywords Religious Studies RE Education

Wordsearch Puzzle sheet of keywords on the theme of ‘Easter Eggs’. Powerpoint so can be used on the board or printed as a worksheet. Includes space for students to explain the keywords and suggested extension activities. Can take 10 minutes or an hour, depending on which activities the students complete. Ideal for the start of a lesson, a quick filler, a homework, part of a cover lesson or as a plenary on the board with a whiteboard pen. The idea behind these is to get students to become more literate and think independently about the words that could be used to describe the topic being taught. The repetition of the word over and over as they look for the word is useful in remembering the terms. Often the students will pick up on things that you would not normally expect!

Easter : Easter Activity

Easter : Easter Activity

Easter : Easter Activity This pack contains 86 playing cards (58 non-religious playing cards (bunnies, chicks etc.) and 28 Religious (Last Supper, Bread, wine etc.) ) that can be printed out onto card and used as a fun Easter resource. We recommend that you print out two sets and use them and pupils can use them to play snap with the deck. Alternatively, ‘go fish’ whereby all cards are put face down on the table and pupils have to try to match pairs. In both cases the person with the most sets wins. It is entirely up to you how you prepare these cards, But we recommend that you print them out, in colour onto paper or card cut around the top and bottom card (on the top and bottom left). We then fold the middle section and glue the pieces together and laminate the card to ensure its durability. Alternatively, you can just use the front of the card for ease of use.
