This resource includes the project handout for students and the teacher's notes to work during a minimum of a month (depending on the number of lessons you have per week) Main goal: Students will design and write a touristic blog about their city addressed to an English speaking audience. Objectives: a)To provide an authentic context for language learning focusing mainly on the development of reading and writing skills; b) To foster collaborative learning through the division of tasks and responsibilities; c) to cater for all learning styles; d) To integrate ICT in the learning process to enhance the 21st-century skills; e) To integrate assessment tools coherent with the learning of life skills; f) To integrate the school community in the students’ learning processes.

We're Going to the Zoo Interactive Addition Games- sums to 15 & sums to 100

We're Going to the Zoo! These Interactive Adobe PDF games help students practice addition facts and provide teachers an opportunity to assess students in the process. Linked to Common Core Mathematics this is an interdisciplinary activity. Students will also learn about various Zoo animals in the process of practicing math skills. Students must click on an empty cage to get addition facts to practice. When they get it correct, they meet one animal and learn an interesting fact about it. There are three full versions of the game included so that each student in the class should have an opportunities to practice their addition skills. This game can be projected for a whole group to play or played on a tablet for individual or small group work. It is a great way to integrate technology into the classroom.Also great for differentiation of instruction! This listing includes six games, three games that include sums to 15 and three games that include sums to 100.
