The SAM Reading exam is broken down into three types of questions with starters, strategies, revision materials, mind maps and other lesson tips and tricks. This is the second of three lessons. Purple Edexcel 9-1 GCSE Spanish Revision Guide slides included which break down SAM Reading exam into topic per question and gives the related pages for revision if the students did not do well on that question. KS3/4 Spanish - Writing an Open-Response for GSCE (Edexcel & AQA)

N.B. This lesson is designed to work in preparation for the GCSE Spanish Writing Exam, with particular reference to the open-response style question (80-90 words). The questions created for the lessons relate to the Edexcel exam board, but this lesson can be equally used in preparation for composing open-responses for the AQA exam board. Lesson includes step-by-step activities to get students accustomed and prepared for all parts of the exam, including understanding the instructions, looking for context, working out which tenses to use, learning formula to use in the exam. Slides include tips and advice for students as well as teachers. Differentiation provided in slides, including support for lower ability and extension tasks. Open-response writing is a component of both the Foundation and Higher tier papers. Lesson is up-to-date and corresponds to the new Grades 9-1 GCSE. PowerPoint contains a model response for students to analyse and potentially use a template for their own writing practice. Handout for students is provided. Document containing GCSE exam-style questions is provided for teachers to edit if desired. The exam questions relate to the topics of food/drink and TV/film.

It is detailed and has lots of exercises with variety. - Grammar table, Mini whiteboards, Matching up, Dice conjugations, a quick board game to form verbs, Translation and writing are all included.
